Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Ibiza is a bright and expressive variety that attracts attention with its energetic color and large, spectacular flowers. Its petals are a rich red-orange color with a soft transition to a white or light pink center, creating a harmonious contrast. Thanks to its wavy edges and juicy colors, the flower looks very lively and decorative.

The variety is ideal for growing at home in pots. It blooms in winter or early spring, when bright colors are especially lacking. The bulb germinates easily under standard care conditions: sufficient warmth, light, and moderate watering. A great choice for a gift or to create an atmospheric floral decoration.

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
