A marvellous, splendidly flowering bulbous plant. Hippeastrum originates from South America. The flowers are very large with a pleasant scent and sit on fairly tall, sturdy stems. Large bulbs can produce one to three flower stems, each holding between 4 and 8 large flowers.

How it looks
The flowers of this variety are fire-pink, about 19 cm in diameter, on stems of 48 to 53 cm. The petals are broad and oval, with white stripes visible in the middle; the outer petals are slightly narrower than the inner ones.

Height of the flower stalk: 48–53 cm

When fully opened, the petals curl up beautifully and the flower shape changes. The pistil and stamens are dark pink, the stigma is white. The leaves are strap-shaped and fairly narrow. It takes approximately two months from planting to flowering. This variety is ideal as a cut flower.
