Amaryllis (Hippeasstrum) 'Amazing Belle' er en fængslende dobbeltblomstret Amaryllis, der er kendt for sine frodige, ruffede kronblade i en delikat blanding af cremet-hvid og blød lyserød, hvilket skaber en luksuriøs og romantisk skærm. Den voluminøse, peony-lignende blomster med deres lagdelte struktur og subtile grønne hals udstråler en yndefuld elegance, hvilket gør dem perfekte til lysende indendørs rum eller tilføjer et strejf af raffinement til vinterindretning.

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

  • Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
  • Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
  • Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
  • Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
  • Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
  • Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
  • As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
  • After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and keep the leaves growing. See our Planting and Care guide for reblooming.
