Amaryllis (Hippeastum) Royal Dream er en luksuriøs sort, der imponerer med dens dybe farve og udsøgte blomsterform. Store, fløjlsagtige kronblade af en rig mørk rød farvetone med en let glans skaber en elegant og dramatisk effekt.

Sorten ser majestætisk og festlig ud, ideel til både vinterhjemsdekoration og udsøgte gaver. Royal Dream har en høj blomsterstilk, der normalt ikke kræver støtte og producerer 4–6 blomster på en enkelt stilk.

Hvordan man planter?

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
