Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Candy Belle is a true floral fairy tale that combines elegance, brightness, and tenderness. This variety features large, spectacular flowers in a rich pink-red hue with contrasting light strokes or veins on the petals, giving the blooms a distinct “candy” appearance reflected in its name.

Each flower reaches an impressive diameter of 20–22 cm, with broad, wavy petals arranged in several layers to form a voluminous, almost double-flowered shape. The center usually displays a soft, light shade that adds depth and ornamental charm.

Candy Belle is perfect for indoor cultivation, especially during the cold season when warm colors are most desired. The bulb typically produces 1–2 flower stalks, each bearing several blossoms, ensuring a long and lush blooming period.

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
