Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) 'Red Cream' (Queen) is a bold and elegant single-flowered variety that captivates with its velvety, deep red petals. Each large, star-shaped bloom is enriched with a silky sheen and a fresh green throat, giving the flowers extra depth and brilliance. The plant grows to a height of 50–60 cm (20–24 inches) and produces sturdy stems bearing 2–4 large flowers, each measuring 18–22 cm in diameter. Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
