Amaryllis (hippeastrum) 'Bright Spark' je živahna jednokratna sorta koja sjaji svojom živopisnom crvenom bojom i kompaktnim šarmom. Cvjetovi u obliku zvijezde sadrže podebljane grimizne latice istaknute hrskavim bijelim četkicama i živopisnim zelenim grlom u sredini, što svakom cvjetovima daje svjež, energičan izgled. S manjom veličinom cvijeća i svijetlim kontrastima, 'Svijetla Spark' savršena je za vesele zimske prikaze ili kao razigrani naglasak u zatvorenim aranžmanima.

Ova sorta raste na visinu od 35–45 cm (14–18 inča) i proizvodi čvrste stabljike koje nose 3–5 malih cvjetova, od kojih svaka od brzina mjeri 10–13 cm. Kako posaditi?

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

  • Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
  • Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
  • Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
  • Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
  • Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
  • Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
  • As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
  • After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and keep the leaves growing. See our Planting and Care guide for reblooming.
