Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Aquaro is The stunningly beautiful flower of the amaryllis variety stands out for its double white colour with longitudinal stripes of a contrasting burgundy hue.

The outer row of petals has barely noticeable veins-stripes, while the inner row is coloured more burgundy along the central vein of each petal, and their ends converge to a single point in the very centre of the light green throat. Together they create a stunningly harmonious combination.

The bulb of the amaryllis variety is planted in a small pot with 2/3 of its height immersed in the ground. In autumn and winter, it is provided with a cool and dry place for a dormant period, and at the beginning of spring, it is watered and fertilised, moving the pot to a bright and warm place. The growing season lasts from March to June, during which time the plant puts out powerful flower stalks and many attractive flowers.
