This flower can be grown by bulb or seed. Its leaves are about 50 cm long and the arrow it shoots reaches 60 cm. It usually produces two such arrows, but there are some exceptions in the form of thirds. There are between 2 and 12 flowers on such an arrow. The leaves usually grow during the cold season and die before summer. The flowers come in a variety of colours from white to purple. Transplant such a flower every 4-5 years. It can be planted outside in a bed during the summer months.
