Its name can be translated as 'apple blossom'.

Beauty and fragrance
Apple Blossom is a bulbous perennial with showy flowers. If you're looking for something special, check out this amaryllis. The captivating flowers on sturdy stems with their pastel colours are just what you need! They are coloured creamy white with a delicate pink blush. The throat of the flower is a yellow-green colour. The petals are broad, corrugated, oblong-oval in shape. They are gathered in inflorescences, usually 2-6 flowers each. The flowers are fragrant, very reminiscent of perfume. The size of the flower is astonishing, up to 18 cm in diameter! The flower stalk is long, tubular. The leaves are glossy, strap-shaped, dark green. The bulb is fleshy, rounded and slightly elongated. It measures up to 10 cm in diameter. It produces one or two flower stalks. The plant is 30-50 cm tall. The flowering period is winter-spring (6-10 weeks after planting). Order yourself a gorgeous bouquet! Agree, it is very interesting to watch the iridescent blossoms light up on a cold day.

P.S. Hippeastrum was first wrongly identified as Amaryllis Equestris by botanist Linnaeus. Linnaeus' error is the cause of worldwide confusion between 'Amaryllis' and 'Hippeastrum'.
