Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Coral Flame är en slående variation av amaryllis med stora, ljusa korallröda blommor med subtila rosa och orange nyanser. Kronbladen är breda och något vågiga i kanterna, vilket ger blommorna en dynamisk och eldig karaktär.

Blommanens centrum är lättare och skapar en bakgrundsbelysningseffekt. Blomstjälken är stark, lång och kräver inte stöd. Vanligtvis bildar 2–3 blomstjälkar, var och en med 4–6 stora blommor. Blomar rikligt på vintern och våren och förvandlar fönsterbrädan till en ljus blommeshow. Växer bra inomhus och är lätt att ta hand om.

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
