Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Tika Imperator is a striking and majestic variety that immediately attracts attention with its deep, rich colors. The large orange flowers have wide petals that are symmetrical and slightly wavy at the edges, giving them a dynamic look.

The bulb of this variety forms 1–2 strong flower stalks, each bearing 3–5 luxurious flowers. Tika Imperator is ideal for indoor cultivation: it germinates quickly, has powerful energy and can create a real flower show in your home even in the gloomiest season.

Tika Imperator is the choice for those who love dramatic, elegant, and noble plants. It is perfect for classic interiors, festive compositions, or as an exquisite gift.

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and keep the leaves growing. See our Planting and Care guide for reblooming.
