Amaryllis Ballerina is a charming variety from the Sonatini/Hadeco series that impresses with its elegance and sophistication. Its large, graceful flowers resemble an airy ballet dance - delicate, graceful, with a slight color gradient. The petals have a soft red-coral color with thin white stripes closer to the center, which adds tenderness and lightness to the flowers. The central part of the inflorescence is emphasized by a light green hue, which adds contrast and special expressiveness.

This variety is characterized by its compact size, which makes it ideal for growing in pots and containers. Amaryllis Ballerina blooms faster than other varieties and pleases with flowers even in cooler conditions. Due to its unpretentiousness in care, this variety will be an excellent choice for both experienced and beginner growers. How to Plant?

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

  • Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
  • Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
  • Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
  • Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
  • Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
  • Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
  • As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
