Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Candy Floss is a true work of art among flowering plants. Its large double flowers enchant with their pale pink color with light white touches that make them look delicate and sophisticated. The petals resemble light cotton candy, hence the name of the variety - Candy Floss.

The plant reaches 50-60 cm in height and forms strong peduncles that hold 2-3 luxurious flowers with a diameter of 18-22 cm. Due to the multilayered structure of the petals, the flowers look airy and voluminous, creating an impression of sophisticated elegance.

Candy Floss amaryllis is ideal for growing in pots, decorating the interior or creating romantic flower arrangements. Its delicate palette goes well with classic and modern design styles.

How to Plant?

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

  • Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
  • Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
  • Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
  • Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
  • Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
  • Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
  • As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
