Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Happy Valley is a bright yet delicate variety that impresses with its contrasting colors and striking flower shape. Its petals are decorated with rich ruby-red stripes that spread evenly across a creamy white background, creating a charming play of colors.

The center of the flower has a greenish-lemon hue, which further emphasizes the brightness of the petals. The flowers are large, spreading, with wavy edges, up to 20 cm in diameter. They are placed on a tall, sturdy peduncle that raises the lush inflorescence to a height of 40–50 cm. Flowering is abundant and long-lasting, ideal for winter or early spring when there is a lack of color and warmth in the home.

How to Plant?

Guide and tips for planting amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs

Choose a pot that is at least 4 cm wider than the bulb and has drainage holes in the bottom.
Fill the pot with well-draining soil, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top.
Place the bulb in the centre of the pot, with the pointed end facing up.
Cover the bulb with soil, leaving the top one-third of the bulb exposed.
Water once until the soil is evenly moist, then keep it only slightly moist until the first shoot appears.
Place the pot in a warm, bright location with indirect sunlight.
As the plant grows, support the stalk with a stake if needed.
