Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) Luna is a hybrid of the Amaryllis family. Hippeastrum originates from South America and is not frost-hardy, so it is grown in pots indoors in Europe.

Appearance and fragrance
The leaves are long, linear and green, with a groove along the centre of the upper side. The flower stem is smooth, green and hollow. The flowers are bell-shaped, with six petals slightly bent backwards and wavy edges: yellow-green at the centre and beige towards the edge, with a fine red outline. The fragrance is pleasant and unobtrusive.
